Week 12 in Review

I am fully aware that just a few days away is the Christmas holiday. However to try to be proactive I have my mind on Valentine's Day. On week 12 in the 365 Day Creation Challenge I tried come up with a few things for the shop. A lot of these ideas need to be refined but I had a lot of fun making them.

I have been pestering Mr. C to let me open presents or trying to get him to open his presents. I'm the world's worst when it comes to surprises. I can't wait to see his face when he opens his gifts. Maybe tonight I can talk him into opening them....

I was in a bidding war yesterday on Ebay and I am satisfied that I won the bid!!!

Treats from Sexy Girl / Treats for your Sweets

I got a Christmas package from Atasha of Etsy shops, Sexy Girl & Treats for Your Sweets. Two fabulous hand knitted exfoliating cloths!! I used the small one this morning with my favorite facial wash Philosophy Purity!!!! It felt sooooo good. The small one also fits perfectly in my travel toiletry bag!!!

I love the side with ridges. I felt like I was getting super clean. The reverse side was perfect for rinsing and was super soft!!!

You may remember that I ordered a rocking reversible apron from Sexy Girl. Everytime I wear it I am inspired to cook up a storm. It really is a high quality hand made item without any detail missing!

Week 11 in Review

Pink Bubblegum Ice Cream Scoop Charm!!! I immediately listed this in my shop last night. It reminds me of Baskin Robbins Pink Bubblegum Ice Cream!

I made this for a special teeno.

More doodles. I actually plan on drawing these out again with actual colors (I've been using highlighters) and purchasing the transfer paper to see how they look on the onesies!

Is anyone traveling for the holidays? If so how please share your tips! I plan on bringing my crochet, my camera and sketching supplies.

Only Ollie Low Carb Almond Flour Pear Bread

So yesterday we heard a knock at the door and what a wonderful surprise it was.... a Christmas package from Only Ollie!!!! I was at least patient enough to take pictures this time.

The package came wrapped in handmade holiday paper. Inside the loaves were wrapped with tissue and a pretty organza bow. Inside this package each of the loaves were wrapped air tight.

I really like the texture of the loaves. The almond flour is more dense then other flour but both Mr. C and I loved the flavor. It is especially good toasted!

Thank you so much for making me this low carb bread sweetened with Splenda!!!!

Week 10 in Review

I went on vacation during week 10. I took photographs every day. I also worked on my crochet blanket but I did not take any photos. I got sick on the last several days of my vacation and I am still sick. It has now been 9 days. I am really ready to feel better. The doctor also prescribed two inhalers, steroids, and a Z-pack. Seriously....it is time to feel better!

I have so many creative ideas right now and just not enough energy to accomplish them. So keep your fingers and toes crossed that tomorrow I will wake up feeling better!

I made these holiday treat cups with handmade ornaments attached yesterday!

This was some super yummy stir fry that I made one day last week. It had thinly sliced steak, imitation lobster, peapods, yellow, red, and green bell pepper, and onion. I served it on crispy rice noodles. I also smoked up the entire apartment when I put some ginger on to saute and forgot about it while I was preparing the noodles, LOL. When I am sick all I want to eat is ginger, ginger, hot pepper, ginger....did I say ginger?

It snowed here this morning but it was only a light dusting.

Thankful Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving was especially sweet because it was the first Thanksgiving I had spent with my Dad and his side of the family in years!!! I am so happy that I got to see everyone. I also had the pleasure of meeting my brother in law and nephew for the first time as well as my cousin Jamie's husband and son. I got to see some dear friends. It was a good trip and now I am home sick more than ever.

Here are a few pictures from the trip. I ended up taking 219 photos. I am still trying to get to feeling better so I'm not sure how much creating will get accomplished this week.
