INDIEana Handicraft Exchange

Last Saturday Mr. C and I took our first trip to Indianapolis to go to the INDIEana Handicraft Exchange at the Harrison Center for the Arts. It was only about an hour and 45 minutes away. There were so many wonderful vendors! I loved seeing their handcrafted items, their artistry was all so amazingly inspirational and I love getting to meet so many people!

I finally go to say Hello to Nicole of Sloe Gin Fizz in person!!! :) Where I picked up some note cards of my favorite boot print! They make me oh so happy! I wish I would have taken a picture of her and her amazing booth.

I picked up some earrings (from Gas up the Zamboni) for a certain someone that matched something that Mr. C and I are having custom made for said person. I will not be able to post a picture of them until after their birthday in a few more weeks. Her packaging was so cool!!! (I can't wait to show you what's inside!!!)

I also picked up a couple more birthday items that I forgot to photograph before I sent them to her. An awesome coloring book and pillbox from Mamus.

We also walked a few blocks over to the Talbot Street Art Fair but it was ROASTING hot. I got a diet Pepsi and some sort of mystery meat on a stick hoping that I would feel better but I think the heat had already done me in. I also did not see anything that grabbed my attention like the Handicraft Exchange.
Mr. C and I then drove to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The entrance and parking was FREE. I was very excited to see an Asian Arts exhibit as well as a Fashion and Textile Exhibit. I squealed with delight when I found out about the latter! I only wish I would have brought a sketch pad. I could have spent all day in there. We definitely want to go back.

On our way home we detoured through downtown to snap a shot of the football arena for our pal back home who is a huge Colts fan.

I saw this lovely flower shop that reminded me of Europe.

We got on the highway and headed home, to only get off 2 exits later for lunch.

We both loved Indianapolis.
