I had the opportunity to sew a test pattern for Oliver+S. All you know how much I adore their patterns. The pattern I sewed was the School Photo dress pattern. It is a new pattern for their fall line up and it will definitely be a new favorite!
If you have had previous nightmares or trepidations about inserting a zipper I highly recommend this pattern. O+S's pattern instructions give great detail. This was the first time I inserted an invisible zipper without mishap. 
This garment had so many details and has a well tailored look when completed. The dress is lined and the inside looks just as beautiful as the outside! The dress is comfortable and fit photographer, Mindy Rolle's, "E" perfectly.
I can't wait to make this dress again. I'm going to order it in the larger size. The next pattern I plan on sewing from the fall line up is the Nature Walk pattern for my youngest nephew. It will be my first shot at knits (da...dah......dahhhhh). If you use Firefox as your browser you can even dress it up with O+S.
I did an artist spotlight on Mindy Rolle a few months back about her rock out photography. Don't you agree that these photographs are just the best?
